Omniscience

There's no formula for my journey:
No course is straight upon the seas,
I see the waves but as they rise,
Once too late to be averted.
I must be ready to meet them,
As they find me in the moment.
Till then naught can prepare me.
I'll feel the ever shifting wind.
Let me give up our vessel,
To the lightness that floats it.
Fate is a confluence of waves,
Which nothing can define.
We must feel them as they come,
And dance along within them.
An interplay of infinitely factors,
Flows together into the moment;
We'll never know whence it came,
Leaving it forever beyond our reach.
I will fathom the depths below,
When I know but boundlessness.
It's enough to behold the stars
That you summoned from below.
