Nihilism and Enlightenment

As no one makes decisions that don’t matter to them, someone who is truly in a nihilist state of mind becomes catatonic. This only happens when the ego disintegrates under the greatest possible stress it can undergo, upon which the lack of ego at once takes away this stress. We can only know meaning by going through nihilism. Once it no longer even matters to us whether we get better or worse, we become utterly at peace, and we become conscious of how the meaning of our existence is throughout each and every part of its every moment, an idea upon which our ego then reintegrates itself.
