Online Voting Networks

We could vote for anything we do in any group on a social network website where anyone could begin polls and add options. To make sure that people would try to come up with options that work for as many people as possible, people could vote for several options at the same time by giving them points, and could change their vote at any time as new options are added. If people vote that no votes can be made to control others, they could only vote about things that concern them: votes would only have to apply to the people who vote for it, so that votes could become the new currency. Such website could be used in the organization of any group both large and small. Most organization happens in small groups, and even organization of large groups is done by smaller groups, so that it would be used mostly by small groups. By the time small groups have organized themselves, we will not even need as much organization between small groups, except for what happens between those small groups. Each of the groups could have an organization of its own, so that anyone who wants a different organization, and can’t get the group to vote for it, can just find another group. Once people feel like they have power, people will keep wanting more: from their managements until they form worker cooperatives, and from their governments until they form a direct democracy.
