The Vibrations of Mantras

When singing mantras, we should focus not on how it sounds but on how it feels: it's meant not so much to create a sound as to create a vibration in our breath, which can be useful not only as a meditation, but also for our respiration. Anyone can start learning to sing mantras on their own by just humming with closed lips, which creates vibrations in the face. Once we know how to do so, we can open our lips again, and after that, all we need to do is lower the vibration, first into our throat and then into our lungs.
