Opens from Inside

Don't try to save me

When I break from inside,

For I am still but an egg,

And it is my one purpose.
Only as I choke inside me,

Will instinct draw me out.

Then I slam with all my might

Against the walls of my being

And when I stand at the edge,

But hesitate to leap beyond,

Then push me as I'm drawn here

When the time's come to fly.
So don’t try to save me
When I stand upon the brink.
Let me fall in the depths,
That I may yet rise again.
Each of my lives must end

For the new one to begin.
