We should both love and hate, for love creates and hate destroys, and what is to be cannot be created without destroying what was. This means that we should hate only that which we should destroy, and love that in which we want to create. However, we should destroy only to create, hate only out of love, and the as the only thing whose creation does not destroy anything is consciousness, we should love only consciousness and hate only unconsciousness.
